New Jersey Audubon
Lillian Armstrong is New Jersey Audubon’s Special Events Director, based out of its Cape May Bird Observatory. She leads three major gatherings each year, the World Series of Birding, the Cape May Spring Festival and the Cape May Fall Festival. In addition, her team has hosted three major international conferences, The Annual Raptor Research Foundation Conference, the International Bird Observatory Conference, and the joint annual meeting of the Association of Field Ornithologists and the Wilson Ornithological Society.
John Mackenzie is the Vice President of Sales for Key Media. Key Media is one of the leading niche publishing companies in the world, with 200 staff across eight offices – in Sydney, Auckland, Singapore, Manila, Denver, London, Bangalore and Toronto. Key Media delivers world-class content via multiple platforms – online to a combined audience of over 2.5 million unique visitors per month, through the pages of the 130 magazines it publishes per year, and face-to-face at its 70+ annual events enjoyed by thousands of key industry players. He is personally responsible for all the Print, Digital and Events revenue in North America across the various publications.
Florida Press Association / Intersect Media
Jim Fogler was recently appointed the President and CEO of the Florida Press Association and Intersect Media. Jim is the chief advocate for over 162 FPA newspaper members and oversees the print and digital advertising services of multiple state media associations through Intersect Media. He has worked for Gannett company for more than 30 years, most recently as President and Regional Sales Director of the Poughkeepsie Journal and the Burlington Free Press part of the USA Today Network. He and his family live in Oviedo, Florida.

Karen Tower is the Executive Director of the Florida Press Foundation and Florida Press Educational Services. A native of Florida, her career has spanned everything from marketing, communications and her true love, the nonprofit world. She has been with the Florida Press team for 15 years. Karen is dedicated to advancing the mission and programs of the Foundation.
Karen is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a B.S. in Communications. She lives in Tallahassee with her family.
